Young entrepreneurs in the area could be eligible for some startup money.
Both the Leeds and Grenville Small Business Enterprise Centre and Small Business Advisory Centre Smiths Falls are offering a program that gives students $1,500 for a summer business. To be eligible you must be either attending school or returning to school in the fall and between 15 to 29 years old. Program participants will receive hands-on business training, mentoring and coaching from successful business mentors in the community.
