Prescott’s Community Award Committee has re-opened the nominations for the Citizen and Volunteer of the Year Awards.
Councillor Leanne Burton made the announcement during Committee of the Whole this week. Councillor Burton says they want to be sure everyone has enough time to acknowledge a local person who does a lot of good for their community. After receiving minimal nominations the award committee has opted to give community members until 4:30pm on March 12th to submit their choice.
