Brockville Police are once again warning the public to keep an eye out for counterfeit bills.
According to police they are still receiving reports of counterfeit money being used in the city and they encourage retailers to be careful when taking folded money. One of the most commonly passed counterfeit bills has Chinese writing on it in red.
Police say the scammer will fold the bill before handing it to the victim so the writing is not visible. Included above is a photo of one of the confiscated counterfeit bills.
