After yet another closure on the 401, the OPP is asking for the public’s help as they continue their investigation.
The westbound lanes of the 401 were closed for 5 hours yesterday after seven transport trucks and four passenger vehicles were involved in a pileup near Mallorytown. OPP Contable Sandra Barr has confirmed that one man suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was hit by a transport while standing outside of his vehicle:
Constable Barr did go on to say that every collision has different circumstances and stressed that if you’re ever involved in one, always assess the situation and keep your safety in mind before exiting a vehicle.
If you witnessed the collision, you’re being asked to contact the Leeds OPP at 643-245-1790
