Charges are pending after the OPP executed a search warrant in the Village of Cardinal.
The Grenville County OPP says on Wednesday they executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant on a Benson Street home. Members of the Community Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team were also involved in the search, which turned up marijuana and codeine worth around $7,500.
As a result the OPP says they have charged the 36-year-old Cardinal resident with possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking. The accused is scheduled to appear in Brockville court on February 23rd.
