On Tuesday, Leeds Grenville MP Gord Brown demanded the Liberals take action on the U.S. country of origin labeling or “COOL” rule.
Brown says the Conservative party has been the only party that has stood with Canadian farmers and ranchers since the Americans first introduced these anti-trade mechanisms. He says it is now important that the Minister of Agriculture press his Cabinet to do what is in the interest of Canadian farm families.
