An artist based in Lyn will have their work displayed at the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery.
The St. Lawrence College gallery is presenting Elke Bzdurreck’s work in an exhibit titled Inner Expressions and the Outer Universe. Bzdurreck moved her gallery outside of Brockville from Quebec last year and has been working out of the 201-year-old Georgian manor ever since. Her work has been displayed in Germany, America, Russia, Costa Rica and Japan. Bzdurreck works predominantly in watercolour, acrylic, pen and ink. She has spent the last two years illustrating a children’s book about a howler money for the Nosara Wildlife Rescue in Costa Rica.
The exhibit will be on display until February 23rd and will include mixed media works by Lise Melhorn-Boe in the Foyer Gallery. Bzdurreck’s work can be found here.
