Four people face charges in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township drug bust

More than $9,000 worth of drugs has been seized by the OPP in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township.

Leeds OPP says a drug bust took place at two homes in the township last Thursday. Police seized numerous drugs and cash. Officers say the value of the drugs on the street was about $9,000.

Four people have been charged in the incident. That includes a 58-year-old man from the township facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a firearm or ammunition. A 70-year-old man and 19-year-old man from the township, along with an 18-year-old from Smiths Falls, are all facing multiple charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking as well.

All four have court dates in Brockville.
