Two men nabbed by OPP for break and enters in the area

Two men are facing multiple charges related to break and enters in the area.

Grenville County OPP says a resident called about two suspicious men outside of his neighbour’s home on January 4th. That information led to the arrest of a 20-year-old from Ottawa and a 20-year-old from North York for a break and enter on Buker Road in North Grenville.

Police continued to investigate and on January 5th the OPP searched a home in Ottawa. Stolen property was found and was linked to numerous break and enters in the Kemptville, Lanark and Ottawa areas.

The Ottawa man is facing multiple charges including possession of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime and numerous counts of break and enter.

The North York man is facing a break and enter charge and a charge of possession of break and enter instruments.

Both men have future court dates. Police say they continue to investigate.
