Snow and rain could cause trouble for commuters heading into this weekend.
Environment Canada has released a special weather statement saying rain is expected to be patchy today but become more widespread tonight and tomorrow. With melting snow, Environment Canada says the rain could pool on roads and low-lying areas.
Later on Friday, a cold front is expected. Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says that’s where conditions could really deteriorate.
Coulson says that we’ll then see accumulations of snow.
Environment Canada says you should continue to monitor the situation as the storm passes through.
