A 43-year-old man from South Dundas is facing multiple charges related to assault.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP says officers were called to a home in South Dundas last week. After investigating, police say an argument took place between the man and his wife. Police also learned that the man had damaged property and assaulted the woman multiple times.
The man was arrested and charged with four counts of assault, mischief, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle.
The man is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on January 23rd.
