The Town of Prescott will not accept award nominations after Friday.
All applications for the Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year awards must be submitted by 4:30pm on Friday. This comes after the town extended the deadline from mid to late December.
Nominees do not have to live in Prescott but their achievements and contributions should be focused on or in the town. The winner will display a broad range of contributions or have demonstrated commitment to a particular cause.
Nominators are urged to be specific when nominating their candidate. List activities, results, achievements, memberships in civic or professional organizations and who benefited from the individual’s hard work to improve their chances of being selected.
