Flash mob to raise funds for Leeds and Grenville Interval House

Leeds and Grenville Interval House is planning to raise funds by creating the world’s largest flash mob.

ShimmyMob is being held on Saturday, May 12th. Organizers say it’s an opportunity to raise your voice on behalf of victims of domestic abuse.

Registration is now open for people to get involved. Participants will receive a team t-shirt, pledge sheets, links to instructional videos and are expected to learn the choreography for the event.

This past year, more than $1,300 was raised for Leeds and Grenville Interval House through the event and organizers hope to increase the total at next May’s event.

If you’d like to learn more, you can contact Karen MacNaull at 613-213-9831 or register online for the Brockville Leeds Grenville Thousand Islands team at www.shimmymob.com.
