The first recipient of the Dr. Gerrard E. Swensson-Rosenquist Emeritus Scholarship has been selected.
Winchester District Hospital has selected Dr. Wendy Zhang as the inaugural recipient. Zhang says she is honoured to receive the scholarship. She adds that after completing her family medicine residency at the hospital she has experienced a passion for delivering high quality patient care. Dr. Rosenquist presented the award Zhang and said he hopes to be on hand to present quite a few more.
The scholarship was founded by Winchester District Memorial Hospital in celebration of the doctor’s commitment to medicine and the community.
