An 18-year-old Brockville man is facing charges after fleeing police.
According to Brockville Police on Saturday morning around 4:00am an officer on patrol saw a man leap from the second floor of a business and start running. After a short foot chase the officer was able to catch the suspect and placed him under arrest.
An investigation revealed the accused had broken into part of the business in an attempt to enter another one. Brockville Police say he caused damage to the building during the break-in attempt.
The accused was released with a future court date, he is facing a number of charges including breaking and entering.
