The Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal is recruiting for next year’s committees.
There are three committees open to registration. The Community Development Committee focuses on economic development, planning and beautification. For recreation program development the township has the Recreation Advisory Committee and the Business Showcase Committee deals with the annual Prescott-Augusta-Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Business Showcase.
Committees normally meet monthly, but there are some that only meet as necessary. Meetings usually take place in Spencerville Council Chambers. Terms of reference for all committees can be found on the township’s website.
Anyone interested in registering must contact the Edwardsburgh Cardinal before December 6th. Interested parties can do so by emailing [email protected], faxing a note to 613-658-3445 or by dropping it off at the township’s office.
