The 64th Annual Light up the Night Parade is going to make getting around town slightly more difficult.
Starting at 5:00pm Henry Street will be closed to traffic from Edward Street to Centre Street. With the work being done on the new Prescott Fire Station there is a concern that the area could become overly congested. This closure will be in place until 10:00pm.
The parade itself will leave South Grenville District High School at 7:00pm and following Edward south to King Street. Floats will then travel along King until Centre. Please be advised that travelling through downtown will be impossible until the parade ends.
