The Town of Prescott is reminding the public they’re no longer allowed to park on the road.
The overnight parking restrictions went into effect on November 1st and will be enforced until March 31st. According to town hall the restrictions are in place so public works staff will be able to plow in a safe and effective manner.
According to town by-law 19-86, which covers parking regulations and penalties, failing to follow parking regulations carries a fine of between $2 and $300.
