The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival has a new Artistic Director.
The festival has announced that Richard Sheridan Willis has been selected to lead the production company into next year’s performances. Willis said he was thrilled to be joining the team and added he looked forward to building on an impressive 16-year history with the help of a dedicated board and talented staff.
During the same press release Willis announced that next summer they would be staging As You Like It and The Taming of the Shrew. Willis finished by saying he is eager to once more join a wonderful community that celebrates theatre and Shakespeare.
