Last week in Queen’s Park, Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark spoke about Cadet Corporal Hannah Flinn, of 113 The Brockville Rifles. Ms. Flinn will be receiving the Cadet Medal of Bravery this week. The young woman was involved in a crash with six other passengers. She worked to save the others with no concern for her own safety.
Clark said the Medal of Bravery is the Canadian Cadet organization’s highest honour.
He said in our own moment of crisis, we should aspire to summon the courage Hannah showed, to put the well-being of others ahead of our own.
