The union representing post-secondary staff and the colleges are returning to the bargaining table.
In an update posted to the St. Lawrence College website Wednesday the school announced the College Employer Council had asked the provincially appointed mediator to resume negotiations with the OPSEU faculty bargaining union. Â The colleges and OPSEU Academic will resume discussions tomorrow.
In a press release Sonia Del Missier, Chair of the Colleges’ Bargaining Team, said this strike has gone on for too long and that they would work very hard to reach a deal that ends it.
