One of Prescott’s oldest buildings set a personal record this year.
The Forwarders Museum set a new attendance record with over 1500 visitors touring the displays. There were exactly 1530 people through the museum and around 300 signed the visitors register, giving museum staff an idea of where they came from.
Approximately 100 were from Prescott or the surrounding area and 113 came from somewhere else in Ontario. 54 came from out of province, 43 from the United States and 22 travelled from somewhere off the continent.
Visitors regularly commented that the town was friendly and that staff were helpful.
