The Town of Prescott has reached a new lease agreement with Bell Mobility.
The agreement is in regards to one of the cellular towers in the Northwest quadrant of the town. The tower was originally leased to Telus Mobility but the telecommunication companies have been transferring some assets between them. The tower was one such asset and Bell could not continue on the lease signed by Telus.
Instead of ending the lease outright Prescott town council chose to ask Bell to sign a new lease agreement, which was accepted and ratified. Most of the details will remain the same but the town will be receiving an extra $1000 under the new deal.
