The OPP have released the name of the man killed in a fatal collision in Morrisburg on Friday.
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP say on Friday they were called to the scene of a fatal two-vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 31 in South Dundas Township. A police investigation has determined that just before 2:30am a vehicle travelling eastbound on County Road 2 collided with a westbound motorcycle, in the west lane. Police are still investigating what caused the vehicle to cross the centerline.
As a result of the collision the driver of the motorcycle, 77-year-old Ronald Taillefer of North Glengarry, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The lone occupant of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
