Brockville Police are thanking the public now that voting has closed for Aviva Community funding.
The Brockville Police Service’s After School Program finished second in all of Canada and 1st in their category of Community Development. There will be 35 finalists selected from the projects and an independent panel of judges will choose the Grand Prize Winners.
Winners receive $50,000, $100,000 or $150,000 depending on which funding level their project was entered into. The finalists that are not selected as Grand Prize Winners still receive a $5,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
Finalists will be announced November 1st.
