If you’d like to help raise money for a little girl with cancer you’ll have to pump up the bike tires and brush the dust off of your helmet.
On July 8th at the Mac Mills Trails at Triangle Ski Club in Mallorytown the Moving Mountains fundraiser is taking place. It costs $10 to enter and the money raised at the event will be split evenly between Abigail’s family and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario cancer research. Â People are encouraged to bring their bikes, and safety gear, so they can ride the trails while raising money for cancer research.
Organisers say there will be different tracks set up, including one specifically for walking and others with jumps for more advanced riders. Small children are welcome to attend. A $10 donation is good for two tickets, one is exchanged for a freezie when the event ends and the second goes into a draw for prizes. Each rider will get to pick which prize they want their number to be entered in to. There will also be a barbecue, with food and drink available by donation.
