A man has been arrested after police received a call about a suspicious person around the Brockville Centennial Youth Arena.
Police say that at 7:30pm on Wednesday a resident reported a man acting strangely and fumbling around a car in the arena parking lot. When officers arrived they located the man near the vehicle. According to police their investigation revealed the 30-year-old man had outstanding charges in Alberta and he had been released on Recognizance of Bail, with the condition that he stays in the province of Alberta.
Police say they placed the man under arrested for breaching his recognizance of bail and held him in custody pending a bail hearing Thursday afternoon.
