Canadian Blood Services is hoping for a good turnout at the Victoria Day blood donor clinic in North Grenville.
Territory Manager Mary Ann St. Michael says that’s because the number of donations usually drop during holidays but it’s important to keep the blood bank stocked.
St. Michael explains that part of the blood donation, which is separated into three components, doesn’t last very long.
St. Michael says that given the number of people that can donate, only a small amount actually do.
If you’d like to donate on Monday at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, call 1-888-2-donate or visit blood.ca.
