Prescott Ready To Welcome Teams For 45th Leo Boivin Showcase

The 45th annual Leo Boivin Midget Showcase is ready for action later this week.

Festivities get started on Wednesday night with the Ottawa Senators Alumni in town to play the Leo Boivin Classic game.

The tournament itself starts Friday morning with the first puck drop at 7:30am. Tournament Chair Vicki Sargeant says there will be a couple new additions to the opening ceremonies that night at 7:30pm, including a presentation on the Prescott Winter Cup Classic tournament held back in January, as well as a memorial to a late local player.

The tournament’s skills competition takes place Saturday at 7:00pm and the initiation game goes at noon on Sunday.
