A new Facebook Photo Contest is being launched to entice children and parents to drink more water. The Healthy Kids Community Challenge Leeds and Grenville is running the “Water Does Wonders” contest between January 16th and February 2nd.
The idea is to submit photos of children using water as their drink of choice. Officials hope the contest will promote water as the natural choice for kids to stay healthy and hydrated. They also hope it introduces water as a healthy alternative to sugar-sweetened beverages.
The public will have a chance to vote daily for their favourite photos. Three lucky winners will be able to choose a prize valued at $500.
