Grant will allows Friends of the Prescott Library to create “Fort Town Memories” project

A government grant will allow the Friends of the Prescott Library to collect and share heritage stories in a project called Fort Town Memories. The group hopes to collect stories about funny incidents, bravery, strange occurrences, happy and sad times, as well as details about events that have happened in Prescott. The project will then be put together and shared at the library. The money comes from the Government of Ontario’s Senior Community Grant Program “Ontario 150”. If you’d like to find out more, contact the Chair of the Friends of the Prescott Library Peter Green at 613-925-9037 or email [email protected]. You can also contact Friends of the Prescott Library “Ontario 150” Project Leader Katherine Belrose at [email protected].
