An Athens man has been handed a careless driving charge after a collision. The Brockville OPP says it responded to the scene on County Road 5 and Main Street in Athens on Sunday just before noon. A police investigation found a 1999 Jeep had hit three separate motorcycles, before driving into a home. Two of the motorcycle riders, a 60-year-old man and a 20-year-old, both from Elizabethtown-Kitley Township, were brought to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The third motorcyclist, a 56-year-old Brockville man, was not hurt. Three children inside the home suffered minor injuries, and one was brought to hospital as a precaution. The 68-year-old driver of the Jeep has been charged, and police continue to investigate.
